Turn the clocks ahead three decades to 2001, when Gloria Gaynor triumphantly returned to the charts with "Just Keep Thinkin' About You." Amazingly, Gloria Gaynor claimed the #1 spot on Billboard Dance/Club charts. Gloria Gaynor's song "Last Night," recorded with disco-beat king Giorgio Moroder debuted at #1 throughout Europe.
Incredibly, Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" was awarded the #1 spot on VH-1's Top 100 Dance Records of All Time show.
After a 20-year studio hiatus, Gloria Gaynor released I Wish You Love in 2002. Immediately, two singles from the album took off and claimed the #1 spot on Billboard's Dance chart; "Just Keep Thinking About You" and "I Never Knew."
Gloria Gaynor was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
