Five now legendary songs come from the album; "Papa Don't Preach," "Open Your Heart," "La Isla Bonita," "True Blue," and "Live To Tell." Madonna continued to make waves with her fourth album, Like A Prayer. Groundbreaking, church-doctrine-threatening songs like "Express Yourself" make the album a classic. In 1990, Madonna starred alongside Warren Beatty in the movie Dick Tracy. The movie featured Madonna's dance anthem "Vogue," her eighth No. 1 single. Later that year, Madonna released her first compilation album, The Immaculate Collection. In 1992, Madonna caused pant tents with the overtly sexual Erotica. The title track became the highest-debuting single in the U.S. Hot 100 Airplay chart, coming in at No. 2. Later that year, Madonna published her first book, SEX. In 1995, Madonna released a compilation of ballads titled Something to Remember. A year later, Madonna's starred in the movie version of Evita. Madonna's song "You Must Love Me," won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song From a Motion Picture. She also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Madonna's album Ray of Light won three Grammy Awards in 1999. It included the hit song "Beautiful Stranger" from the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Madonna had another hit in 2000 with her dance remake of Don McLean's "American Pie." That same year, Madonna released the electronica album Music, as well. Madonna was ranked No. 36 in Rolling Stone magazine's "Greatest Artists of all Time" list. In 2005, Madonna continued going strong with her tenth studo album, Confessions On A Dance Floor, producing four hit singles including "Hung Up," "Get Together" and "Sorry". In 2007, Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Justin Timberlake. And then wowed fans by releasing her 11th studio album Hard Candy. her 11th studio album. It boasts collaborations with Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, and Danja. The first single was "4 Minutes," with Just Timberlake.
