Heart is nothing without the Wilson sisters.

Their stunning debut album Dreamboat Annie hit record stores in 1975. The album quickly achieved platinum status on the strength of incredible songs like "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man."

Heart released its follow-up album Little Queen in 1977. "Barracuda" quickly became another massive hit for Heart, the album went platinum.

The memorable Dog & Butterfly, dropped in 1978. In 1980, Heart issued Bebe Le Strange. Many considered Heart to be has-beens after 1982's Private Audition and 1983's Passionworks.

Heart was long from finished, though, and in 1985 staged one of the best comebacks in music history. Their eponumously titled album ultimately sold more than five million copies on its way to launching four Top Ten hits — "What About Love?," "Never," the chart-topping "These Dreams," and "Nothin' at All."

Heart's comeback success continues in 1987 with Animals. "Alone" was another number one hit, and both "Who Will You Run To" and "There's the Girl" saw considerable airplay as well. Brigade, from 1990, featured smash "All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You," as well as "I Didn't Want to Need You" and "Stranded."

Heart was on hiatus through most of the '90s.

In 1999, Nancy Wilson released her first solo album, Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop, and a year later penned the score to her husband Cameron Crowe's hit motion picture, Almost Famous, while Ann Wilson continued to play with others — in the summer of 2001, Ann Wilson participated in the A Walk Down Abbey Road: A Tribute to the Beatles tour, which also featured Todd Rundgren, John Entwistle (The Who), and Alan Parsons (The Alan Parsons Project).

In 2004, the band released "Jupiter's Darling", their first studio album in 11 years.
