Nikki Lane Biography
Country music singer Nikki Lane was born in Greenville, South Carolina. After leaving high school before graduating, Nikki first worked in the fashion industry but then decided to pursue a career in music. After moving to New York City and then later Nashville, Lane garnered the attention of Iamsound Records and entered the studio to begin recording her debut album in 2010.
The result was Walk of Shame, which arrived in the fall of 2011. With a voice that has been compared to Wanda Jackson, Nikki’s talents earned her critical acclaim and the album set the stage for her breakthrough follow-up, All or Nothin’, which arrived in 2014. All or Nothin’ fared even better, earning Nikki Lane praise from critics and audiences alike. The album spawned the hit singles “Right Time,” “Gone, Gone, Gone,” and “Love’s On Fire.”
Nikki Lane is a country music star on the rise and definitely one to keep an eye on in the coming years. She is expected to return to the studio soon to prepare for her third studio album, set for release in the next year or two.
