Sister C Biography

The American country music group known as Sister C burst onto the music scene after they competed on season 2 of the reality competition series, The X Factor USA. Mentored by Simon Cowell, the three sisters – Celbi Rheygan Manchaca, Carli Rayne Manchaca, and Cirby Ryan Manchaca – had grown up in Texas and spent much of their childhood singing and performing together.

Although Sister C was eliminated from the competition in November of 2012, the trio simply moved on to writing and recording material for a much anticipated debut album. The result was the self-titled debut EP which arrived in 2013 and featured the single “Ladies of the South.” The album garnered Sister C some significant attention from multiple publications in Nashville, which praised the trio as a “fiery, bold group” on the rise and one to watch.

Sister C most recently released The Demo Sessions, Vol. 1, in 2016, featuring the singles: “This Bar Ain’t Enough,” “Even a Broken Heart Beats,” “Take Me to the Water,” “Cry Tomorrow,” and “Faint of Heart.” The EP is currently available on iTunes and Amazon.
