The Band Perry Biography

The Band Perry was created by the three Perry siblings – Reid, Neil, and Kimberly – in the first decade of the new millennium. But their history as musicians goes back much further, with Kimberly performing in a high school band and her brothers creating their own band before the three came together to form the Band Perry. By 2008, the siblings had caught the attention of Republic Nashville, and in the following year, they released the chart-topping country single, their debut, “Hip to My Heart.”

The album the Band Perry followed in 2010, spawning the additional singles “If I Die Young,” “You Lie,” “All Your Life,” and “Postcard from Paris,” all of which rose into the top ten on the country charts. The Band Perry’s auspicious career start includes not only the multiple chart-topping hits, but also Academy of Country Music Awards for Top New vocal Duo or Group and Top New Artist; Country Music Association Awards for New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year; and multiple nominations from the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Country Awards.

Most recently, the Band Perry released their album Pioneer in 2013, spawning the hit singles “Better Dig Two” and “Done.” The Band Perry is just getting started, and has plans for future tours and performances, and additional studio albums in the coming years.
