Wildstylez Biography

The DJ and producer known as Wildstylez was born Joram Metekohy in 1983 in the Netherlands. Before his major breakthrough as Wildstylez, Metekohy began producing in 2004, focusing on hardstyle and initially in collaboration with Ruben Hooyer as part of the duo known as Seizure. But in 2008, Wildstylez teamed up with Headhunterz to produce the debut album Project One. Ultimately, the work went on to be a smash hit following its launch at Defqon.1, where it was embraced with enthusiasm by the crowd.

 

Since that time, Wildstylez has released dozens of albums, including: Tonight (2009), Push That Feeling/K.Y.H.U. ( Noisecontrollers Remix) (2009); No Time to Waste, which also served as the Defqon.1 Festival Anthem in 2010; Lost in Music (2010); A Different Story (2011); World of Madness, which also served as the Deqon.1 anthem in 2012; Lose Control (2013); and most recently, Straightforward/Back to History (Intents 2013 Anthem) (2014.) The albums feature the singles “World of Madness,” “Lost My Mind,” “Year of Summer,” “Timeless,” Lights Go Out,” and “Back to History.”

 

In 2013, Wildstylez founded his own label, Lose Control Music, through which he and Max Enforcer both release their own music. Wildstylez continues to perform and collaborate with such notable artists as D-Block, The Prophet, and S-Te-Fan.
