FKJ Biography

The Parisian multi-instrumentalists and singer known as DJ FKJ (for French Kiwi Juice) was born Vincent Fenton in Tours, France. After moving to Paris in his twenties, FKJ had actually studied sound engineering for film, but as a self-taught musician he’d always harbored interest in using his talents to create his own original music.

DJ FKJ’s debut EP, The Twins arrived in 2012 and was followed by Time for a Change (2013), featuring the singles “So Much to Me” and “Instant Need.” With its unique blend of classic hip-hop sound and funky synth influences, FKJ quickly rose up the ranks of the New French House genre of music. The EP Take Off followed in 2014 and earned FKJ significant praise, launching a series of international performances which has since made him a “pioneer” of the genre.

Today, French Kiwi Juice (FKJ) performs internationally at some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals, including Euphoria, Coachella, and CRSSD. FKJ recently released his debut album, French Kiwi Juice, via CD and download in March of 2017.
