Otto Knows Biography

DJ Otto Knows was born Otto Jettman in 1989 in Sweden. Knows rose to fame with his big breakthrough with the release of his remix “Hide and Seek,” originally recorded by Imogen Heap, in 2010. Since that time, Otto Knows has placed multiple songs and remixes at the top of the dance chart, establishing himself as one of the eras most notable DJs.

After “Hide and Seek,” Otto Knows released the song “iTrack,” a collaboration with Oliver Ingrosso and Avicii. The song rose to the top of the charts in the Netherlands, but did not fare as well as Knows’s next endeavor, the song “Million Voices,” which hit the top of the charts throughout all of Europe, reaching into the top five in Belgium and the Netherlands. Otto Knows’s remixes have also fared extremely well, including: “Twisted Love” (Atb); “Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker” (Dada Life); “Starlight” ( Don Diablo); and “Lies” (Burns.)

In recent years, Otto Knows has collaborated with artists such as Alessio, Avicii, Sebastiano Ingrosso, and even Britney Spears, for whom he recently co-wrote and co-produced “Work Bitch” in 2013. Otto Knows is a DJ star on the rise, and definitely one to watch. Knows is currently scheduled for additional projects and collaborations in the coming year.
