Fatman Scoop Biography

The hip-hop producer known as Fatman Scoop was born Isaac Freeman III in 1979.  Fatman Scoop rose to fame with his hit song, “Be Faithful,” which became a club favorite around the world, most notably in the United Kingdom, in 2003. Although he has released a number of albums and singles, Fatman Scoop is best known today as a television and podcast host personality, appearing on MTV and the ONLOQ.com online network.

Album releases from Fatman Scoop include: Fatman Scoop’s Party Breaks: Volume 1 (2003), In the Club (2006), and the compilation album Fatman Scoop’s Hottest (2008.) His singles include the hit “Be Faithful,” in addition to “It Takes Scoop,” “In the Club,” “Dance!,” “U Sexy Girl,”  and “Talk 2 Me.” While Fatman Scoop has experienced success for his own work, he has become far better known for his collaborations and appearances on the work of other artists. Fatman Scoop has appeared on songs by such high-profile artists as: Mariah Carey (“Itls Like That”); Timbaland (“Drop”); Janet Jackson (“So Excited”); Slaughterhouse (“Onslaught 2”); Kalomira (“Please Don’t Break My Heart”); Michael Fall (“La Bonita”); Skrillex (“Recess”); and Snoop Dogg (“We Came To Party.)
