Stalley Biography

The rapper known as Stalley was born Kyle Myricks in Ohio in 1982. Stalley burst onto the music scene in 2008 with his first two successful mixtapes, Goin Ape and MadStalley: The Autobiography. His talents caught the attention of the Rick Ross Mayback Music Group, with which he signed in 2010.

 

Since signing with Mayback, Stalley has appeared on a number of collaboration albums with the label, including Self Made Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3.  Following the success of his first two mixtapes, Stalley released the additional works: Lincoln Way Nights (2011), Savage Journey to the American Dream (2012), and Honest Cowboy (2013), before releasing his debut album, Ohio, in 2014.

 

In addition to his own work, Stalley has appeared on a number of singles in collaboration with other artists, including: “Slow Down” (with Meek Mill, Wale, Gunplay, and Torch); “Address” (with Currensy); “Do It Big” (with Ski Beatz and The Cool Kids); “Cook Up” (with Wale and Black Cobain); “The World Is Ours” (with Rick Ross and Pharrell); “Gentlemen’s Quarterly” (with Ski Beatz); “Tye Dye” (with Chevy Woods); “Love Sosa” (with Rick Ross); and “Fuckin’ Problems” (with Rick Ross.)
