Born on June 2, 1995, in Flint, Michigan, Tyree Jawan Thomas, professionally known as Bfb Da Packman, began rapping in the sixth grade. Growing up in the Selby Hood area with his mother, stepfather, and brother, Thomas started selling weed to make extra money as a teenager. He eventually became involved in narcotics and was caught with guns and drugs, leading to a stint on probation. After serving his time, Thomas moved to Houston, Texas in 2015 and found work at the United States Postal Service while continuing to pursue his passion for music.Thomas's music career took off in 2019 with the release of his projects "God Blessing All the Fat Niggas" and "STD". However, it was his single "Free Joe Exotic", released on June 14, 2020, that brought him widespread recognition. The song, featuring fellow Michigan rapper Sada Baby, gained over 10 million views in just six weeks and became his breakout hit. The song's success was largely due to its timely release during the peak popularity of the Netflix documentary series "Tiger King", which featured Joe Exotic.Throughout 2020, Thomas continued to release new music, including the single "Fun Time" with Wiz Khalifa and a remix of "Alpha" by Guapdad 4000. In March 2021, he dropped the single "Federal" alongside a music video. Later that year, he announced his debut album "Fat Niggas Need Love Too", which features collaborations with several notable artists.
