Omeretta The Great is a talented rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, where she grew up surrounded by a thriving hip-hop scene. From a young age, Omeretta knew she wanted to pursue a career in music, and at seven years old, she began writing songs, poems, and short stories about her life. Although she started taking her rap career seriously only in her early 20s after attending Savannah State University for a year, Omeretta has been passionate about music since childhood.Omeretta's life was marked by hardship, particularly the loss of her father at a young age. Growing up in Atlanta was both fun and challenging due to poverty and the trauma caused by her father's death. She has spoken about the struggles she faced as a result of these experiences.
