Jaylein Arthur-Henry Cantrell, professionally known as YN Jay, is an American rapper who gained prominence in the music industry through viral hits and energetic releases. He released his debut mixtape, "MVP", in 2019, and his song "Coochie" became a social media sensation in 2020. He has since released two studio albums, "Ninja Warrior" and "Coochie Chronicles", both in 2021 through Alamo Records.YN Jay was raised in Beecher, Michigan, and was inspired to pursue a rapping career by his older brother, Gabe, who encouraged him to start rapping when he was just 10 years old. His passion for music intensified, especially after his brother's death, which motivated him to commit fully to his rap career. As a teenager, he was prolific in his output, recording eight to ten songs a day.YN Jay made his official music debut in November 2019 with his mixtape "MVP".
