Boy Pablo Biography
Boy Pablo is a Chilean musician and entertainer born in 1999. The Norwegian native was raised in a musically inclined household, as multiple members of his family could play a wide variety of instruments. Pablo would attend a secondary music school, and he would formerly begin his career under his stage name sometime in late 2015, releasing his debut single the following year.
Pablo would start catching steam in the United States and beyond with his breakout single "Everytime," which garnered a lot of popularity from the accompanying music video. After supporting act roles on tours and further fame, he would release his debut project later in the year, followed by his breakout sophomore project Soy Pablo the next year. Pablo would earn performance slots at numerous festivals, including Coachella and began work on his debut album, Wachito Rico, which released in the fall of 2020.
Pablo’s sophomore project would peak at #40 in his home country of Norway. The big single from the project, "Losing You," would peak at #2 on the Norwegian Airplay chart. Pablo has been nominated for six Norwegian Grammy Awards to date, taking home two of them, which included the win for Newcomer of the Year. He has been featured in several major publications including Pitchfork, NME, and Billboard, among others.
Boy Pablo has released several singles in 2022 such as "Be Mine" and "La Novela," which have amassed tens of millions of streams across a variety of platforms.
