Beabadoobee Biography

Beabadoobee is a Filipino performer and vocalist born in 2000. Born in the Philippines, she would move to London just a few years into her life and become obsessed with vintage pop and indie rock as a teenager.

Beabadoobee would release her debut single, "Coffee," in 2017 and quickly signed a record deal the following year. Beabadoobee would release several EPs during these years, including her breakout EP Space Cadet in the fall of 2019. She was soon nominated in several award programs and began work on her debut album, Fake It Flowers. Before the release of it, Beabadoobee’s debut single was sampled in fellow artist Powfu’s song "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)," which gained traction on the social media platform TikTok. The song generated plenty of buzz leading to her albums fall 2020 release.

Beabadoobee has been featured in several major publications including The New York Times, Variety, and The Washington Post, among others. Her breakout EP would peak at #14 on the UK independent charts while her debut album peaked at #8 in the UK and #189 on the Billboard 200 chart. Beabadoobee’s breakout feature on "Death Bed" would earn a double Platinum certification from the RIAA and peak at #4 in the UK and #23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Beabadoobee recently released her fifth EP to date, which included singles like "Cologne" and "Last Day On Earth," which peak at #28 on the adult alternative airplay charts.
