100 Gecs Biography

100 Gecs is an American must group formed in St. Louis. Singer-songwriters Laura Les and Dylan Brady would join forces in 2015 and soon begin work on their debut project, which would release in 2016. 100 Gecs would take a form of a hiatus after the release until they began performing together again in 2019. 100 Gecs would garner critical acclaim for their live shows, and they soon got back to work on their debut album, which would release in the summer of that year. They quickly caught fire on social media and garnered a large fanbase during this time period. 100 Gecs would perform at a multitude of festivals over the next couple of years and see amazing success during the pandemic through remixes and streaming. 100 Gecs debut album would peak at #36 on the US Indie charts in addition to peaking at #7 on the US Heatseekers chart. Their lone studio EP, released in 2020, would peak at #198 on the Billboard 200 chart. 100 Gecs have had three songs peak on the US Rock charts, the most notable being their 2020 collaboration with Fall Out Boy, which peaked at #23.
