Harry Styles Biography

Harry Styles is an English singer and songwriter born in 1994. He was born in Redditch, Worcestershire, but raised in Holmes Chapel, Chesire. Styles began covering songs by artists such as Elvis Presley before he gained a spot as lead singer in the band White Eskimo in his teenage years. In 2010 he competed in the television program The X Factor before being eliminated early on. Harry Styles would then be brought back with four other men, and the judges put them together in a group. The five of them became known as One Direction and they eventually won third place on the show before signing with Syco Records in 2011. Their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” set off an international craze for the boy band, and they stayed together for over four years. Styles’ solo career began in 2016 and debuted his first single “Sign of the Times” in 2017 to much critical acclaim. As a member of One Direction, Styles would release three Platinum albums and two double Platinum albums with the band. Their most successful single, “What Makes You Beautiful,” was certified quadruple Platinum and topped the UK charts while peaking at #4 in the US. Styles wrote numerous songs for the band and other artists like Ariana Grande. Styles’ solo career included the release of his debut self-titled project which would top the charts in the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and Ireland. Harry Styles recently released his second album Fine Line to critical acclaim at it topped the Billboard 200.
