Bridget Marquardt Biography

The American television personality and model Bridget Marquardt was born in 1973 in Tillamook, Oregon. Bridget spent her formative years growing up in California, where she graduated from Lodi High School in 1990. After earning her B.A. in Communications from California State University in 1998, Bridget was encouraged by her friends to pose for Playboy Magazine; she decided to pursue the opportunity.

After entering Playboy’s Millennium Playmate search, but not being selected for Playmate status, Bridget moved to Los Angeles to being work as a model. In the early 2000’s, she began visiting the Playboy Mansion on invitation, and within two years she was invited to move into the mansion full-time. As a member of the household, Bridget was featured on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door, alongside Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison, and she was featured in a number of Playboy magazine pictorials. Throughout this time, Bridget continued to pursue her higher educational goals, earning a Masters Degree from the University of the Pacific and studying broadcast journalism through UCLA. Her studies were often featured as part of the Girls Next Door storylines.

Since leaving Playboy and the Girls Next Door in 2009, Bridget hosted the short-lived Travel Channel series Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. She has also appeared in a number of small roles in film and on television.
