Chicago entrepreneur and star of the VH1 series House of Consignment Corri McFadden originally grew up in Kansas. After graduating from Olathe East Senior High School in 2000, McFadden entered college to pursue studies and a degree in fashion design. It was actually during her senior project plans that Corri developed the ingenious idea which would eventually become her multi-million dollar company, eDrop-Off.

McFadden envisioned a physical “store” that would provide an easier “buying and selling” service of eBay goods, especially focusing on the luxury items. Not only did the store take off after its launch in 2004, expanding to nearly forty employees in Chicago’s Lincoln Park area, but its success also garnered the attention of VH1, which pitched McFadden on the idea of turning her business into a reality series.

House of Consignment was born, airing for its first season in 2012. The show follows Corri and her employees throughout their daily business activities, including the cliente which uses eDrop-Off to resell their designer clothing, jewelry, accessories, and even shoes and handbags.

In addition to managing eDrop-Off and appearing on House of Consignment, Corri also writes a column for Refinery29, the well-known fashion site, and she contributes articles for the magazine Glossed & Found (also online.)
