Kym Johnson Biography

Professional dancer and television personality Kim Johnson was born in 1976 in Australia. Kim began dancing when she was only three years old, and by the time she was a teenager she’d started learning to ballroom dance. Kim first rose to prominence on the Australian version of the television reality competition Dancing with the Stars, but after moving to the U.S. version of the film, she became a highly recognizable figure in the United States.

Kim’s first appeared on Dancing with the Stars in the United States in 2006, partnering for the first time with Jerry Springer, the talk show host. She returned for season four, partnering with Joey Fatone, former member of N’Sync. The following seasons saw her partnered with Mark Cuban, Penn Jillette, Warren Sapp, David Alan Grier, Donny Osmond, David Hasselhoff, David Arquette, Jaleel White, and Ingo Rademacher.

For the twentieth season of Dancing with the Stars, Kym Johnson was partnered with Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec. The couple was the seventh to be eliminated in that year, but ended up starting a relationship. They married in the summer of 2016, and Kim Johnson became Kim Herjavec.

Kim Johnson continues to perform as a dancer, but she has also released her own fiteness DVD, 5678 Fitness, along with an accompanying diet book.
