Michael Geier, better known as Big Mike Geier, is an Atlanta-based American singer and entertainer who has gained worldwide acclaim for his alter ego, Puddles Pity Party. This larger-than-life clown, reminiscent of Pagliacci, has taken the stage across North America, Europe, and Australia since 2013, captivating audiences with his distinctive performances. Geier's journey began in Philadelphia on March 12, 1965, where he grew up as the fifth of seven children in a family of towering individuals. Standing at an impressive 6 feet 8 inches, he later moved to Richmond, Virginia, and eventually settled in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1995, where he resides with his business partner, Shannon Newton.

Before the advent of Puddles, Geier made a name for himself in Atlanta's entertainment circuit with Elvis Presley-themed Christmas shows and charitable events. He also collaborated with musical acts like Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. However, his pivotal moment came when he introduced Puddles Pity Party. This clown-themed persona initially sported a vague appearance but later adopted the iconic whiteface clown costume.
