Echosmith Biography

The American rock band Echosmith was established in Los Angeles in early 2009. Echosmith was founded by family members Jamie Sierota, Noah Sierota, Sydney Sierota, and Graham Sierota. All the siblings began studying various instruments throughout their childhood, and they came together to establish Echosmith while still in their teens.

 

After signing with Warner Bros., Echosmith released first the EP Summer Sampler in May of 2013, followed by the debut album Talking Dreams in October of that same year. The album spawned the smash hit “Cool Kids,” which rose into the top ten position on the mainstream, adult contemporary, and pop charts internationally. Echosmith gained further popularity with a release of covers, including such songs as “Lights” (Elie Goulding), “Set Fire to the Rain” ( Adele) and “I Will Wait” (Mumford and Sons.)

 

Echosmith is just getting started, but is definitely a band on the rise and one to watch. The band is preparing for a major tour starting in February of 2015, and after that, a return to the studio to release a follow-up album to their successful debut.
