What is disco music?

Disco music is a genre that developed in nightclubs in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.  Our Disco section consists of performers and groups from the 70's and 80's that make up most of the touring Disco acts that are working today. These Disco bands, singers and musicians have musical influences including Motown, funk, soul music, mambo, and salsa.  

Booking Disco acts for corporate events has been a big business since the 70's.  Booking Funk acts also has a wide appeal, although booking fees for Funk groups are usually a little lower than the prices for booking Disco acts for private parties or the fee for booking Disco acts for fundraisers.  Disco tends to have more of a crossover market, with bookings for Disco acts appealing to demographics both young and old.

The booking fee for disco music artists can start at $10,000, with booking prices for disco or funk music groups going to fee of over $1,000,000.
